New Activities Committee & New Activities Incubator

What is the New Activities Committee (NAC)? 

The New Activities Committee (NAC) is one of 3 sub-committees of the Clubs, Societies and Projects Board (CSPB) who support the Union to deliver and develop Student Activities at the Students' Union. For more information on CSPB click here. The New Activities Committee (NAC) oversee the creation and dissolution of Students' Union affiliated Clubs, Societies and Projects.

 

What is the New Activities Incubator (NAI)? 

When a new group is approved through the New Activities Application process, they are placed in the New Activities Incubator (NAI). This means that you will be able to run (mostly) as a newly formed Club or Society but with a little help from the New Activities Committee, Deputy President Clubs and Societies (DPCS) and the Activities Team. 

 

In the incubator stage you are required meet Incubator milestones before you are eligible to become a fully-fledged society. The union act as your management group and we have a range of resources and support to help you get started as a new group and support in meeting the Incubator Milestones.
